What hours are the therapists available?

Our normal business hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm. Several therapists have times available after 5:00pm and before 8:00am.

What insurance plans do you accept?

We accept and file all major health insurance plans.  We do not file those plans that use Magellan and MHN to manage their mental health claims.  Please call your insurance company before your first appointment for authorizations and to determine your deductible or payment portion. The client’s payment portion is due at the time of service. If you do not know your portion, we will collect 50% of the fee at the time of service and bill the balance to the client or the responsible parent of the child receiving services.

Do you accept debit-credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Flex Plan cards with these logos:

 

What if I don’t want to use my insurance?

Our usual and customary fees are $175.00 for an initial intake, $140.00 for a 45-minute session of psychotherapy, $150.00 for a 60-minute session, and $150.00 per hour of psychological testing. Fees for psychological testing are based on time spent with the client, plus time spent for interpretation of results and report writing. Payment is requested at the time services are rendered by check, cash, money order, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Flex Plan and HSA cards.

Do you file Medicare?

Yes. You are responsible for the portion of the fee not covered by your insurance.

Is there someone there who prescribes medication?

No. We can refer you to a psychiatrist or primary care physician when
medication is indicated.

How long do appointments last?

45-50 minutes

How much experience do your therapists have?

We have more than 175 years of experience collectively. Feel free to ask your therapist about their experience in working with individuals. We vary in age from the mid-30’s to the mid-60’s. All of the therapists are licensed in their professional disciplines.

How do I pick the right therapist?

All of our therapists are trained to work with general psychological issues. Please refer to the bio section for individual expertise.

What types or problems do you test for?

Learning and behavioral difficulties, ADHD, IQ, achievement testing, psychological and personality evaluations, career and vocational testing.

Is Christian counseling available?

Yes. Please feel free to discuss this when you phone to make your appointment.
